ZO Skin Health is the clinically proven range of cremes, serums, polishes and cleansers designed to reduce signs of ageing, and repair and protect skin.

ZO Medical addresses specific skin issues including acne, lax skin, sun damage, hyperpigmentation (dark patches of skin) and severe ageing effects. Including the Controlled Depth, 3 Step and Red Carpet peels, ZO Medical prescription treatments offer total skin rejuvenation.

In Scotland, the only practitioner officially trained in these world-famous treatments – and the only practitioner in Scotland to train in with Dr Obagi in Beverley Hills – is Dr Rita Poddar from Peppermint Cosmetics in Glasgow.

Why do I need ZO Skin Care treatment?

You don’t have to have acne scarring, severe signs of ageing, rosacea or pigmentation issues to benefit from ZO Skin Treatment. It’s the everyday skincare range that can fight the effects of UV and the environment. And it’s the professional, prescription only range of treatments that’s as effective at transforming damaged skin as it is at preparing stars like Lady Gaga and Alicia Keys for their red carpet arrival.

Talk to us about the results you wish to achieve, and we’ll assess whether ZO Skin Care is right for you.

    How do ZO peels work?

ZO skin peels are like no other. For 8-12 weeks before the procedure, we’ll actively stimulate the growth of new skin. When the exfoliating skin peel takes place, we’ll remove the outer layer of skin to reveal the fresh, undamaged layer beneath.

The new skin will reduce most fine lines, tighten your jawline, create a more even, unblemished tone across your face and neck, and leave your skin looking healthier and younger.

For even better results, use ZO skin peel treatment in combination with other ZO Skin Care products.

What will happen during skin peel treatment?

Before we carry out any treatment we’ll complete a full consultation with you and explore all your options so you can make an informed choice.

The peel is a formal medical procedure, and we may use a local anaesthetic to minimise any discomfort during treatment.

How will I feel after a skin peel?

The solution we use during the peel is called TCA and contains anti-inflammatories, antihistamines and antioxidants that enhance its effects whilst reducing swelling and the potential for any allergic reaction.

Although you’ll feel fine once the numbness of the local anaesthetic has worn off, you are likely to experience redness and some skin flaking for 7-11 days after the treatment.

    Is it safe?

Yes. The ZO Skin Care treatment is based on trusted and scientifically supported techniques, including chemical peel technology used for over 30 years in main stream cosmetic, plastic and dermatology practices across the globe.
